Nakupenda beach ( nakupenda means i love you in Swahili ) is one of the many beaches in Zanzibar ( semi-autonomous region of Tanzania ) that has clear, blue waters and pure white sands. The waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. In case you visit in the morning, you are likely to spot dolphins in the water.
Nakupenda Beach is located on the island of Zanzibar, close to the Stone Town. The scenery of Nakupenda is very similar to the Caribbean landscapes, but much more exotic and natural. Zanzibar is a tourist area, but it is not at the top of the most visited places in the world, with this, there is a hotel offer worthy of the place that does not affect the native beauties, leaving the beach with air of secret paradise.
How to get there : Best way to reach Nakupenda beach is by hiring a boat from the harbor to take you there on a negotiated fee for a few hours or, if you prefer to be fully catered to, go with a tour company … It’s just a 20 -25 minutes boat ride away and you will loved it!
For those who want to swim / get into the water and for snorkeling this is the best place if your staying in Stone Town. It beautiful and clean – the water is clear and shallow around the sand strip. Most popular time to visit Nakupenda Beach : 07 AM – 08 AM
