The Wai Chek Beach on Koh Chang ( Koh Chang is regarded as the largest island in Trat province ) is a nearly 300 meters long beautiful almost deserted sandy beach on the south coast of the island on Trat province ( Trat is a coastal province in the eastern region of Thailand ) .
Ko Chang. Is a famous tourist destination for the natural beauty of the sea There are many white sand beaches on the island. Also has full facilities from various accommodation services On this big island.

The Wai Chek Beach is framed by two small salt water lagoons at either end, with gentle jungle covered hills above. Here there is nothing but sand, waves, a few rocks and a lagoon, which could not be more dreamlike.
Wai Check Beach is only a few kilometers away from Klong Kloi Beach, but you have to drive completely around the island.To find this beach you have to have patience and be very adventurous It is best to ask the way for the locals in the village of Salak Phet.

Access : Coordinates: 11.968883, 102.360031 / Car: From Bangkok, can use 3 routes which are :
1. Bang Na-Trat (Highway #3) via Chon Buri – Rayong – Chanthaburi – Trat The distance is approximately 385 kilometers.
2. Bang Na – Chon Buri – Klaeng – Chanthaburi – Trat (Highway route 344), approximately 318 kilometers.
3. Motor way starting at kilometer 0 at the Srinakarin Road intersection, Ramkhamhaeng Road And departing at Ban Bueng-Klaeng-Chanthaburi-Trat route.
Buses: There are regular buses and air-conditioned buses of the Transport Company Limited and the private lines of Bangkok-Trat. Depart from the Eastern Bus Terminal or Ekkamai Sukhumvit Road and the Northern and Northeastern Bus Terminal or Mo Chit 2, Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, every day, many times a day. The journey takes about 5 hours.

Tip : If it’s rainy, you should cross two streams in the middle / Remember to bring food and enough drinks, as there are no restaurants here.
