The Sotavento beach is divided into the five sections : La Barca, Risco del Paso, Mirador, Los Canarios and Malnombre. Sotavento beach is an excellent place for rest and relaxation, facilitated by a relaxed atmosphere, clear sea, and snow-white sand.
This beach is popular among surfers and annually hosts prestigious windsurfing and kiteboarding competitions, In addition, Sotavento was awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness and high environmental performance.
