Stockholm’s stadshus, the town hall of the Swedish capital Stockholm, houses the seat of the city government and the city parliament. It is located on the southeastern tip of the island of Kungsholmen on Riddarfjärden in Lake Mälaren.

The building has a 106 m high “Great Tower” with 365 steps leading to it, and the top of the tower is decorated with three gilded crowns (the symbol of the Swedish Empire). At the top of the tower there is a museum and a bell tower with an observation deck from which the panorama of the city of Stockholm can be seen.
Stockholm’s stadshus considered one of the most important examples of Swedish romanticism , It hosts the Nobel Prize banquet and is one of Stockholm’s main tourist attractions.

- The town hall building has two halls: “Blue Hall” and “Golden Hall”. A banquet is held in the Blue Hall after the annual Nobel Prize ceremony.
