Thien Mu Pagoda which is also called Linh Pagoda is a Buddhist temple on the banks of the Hương River on Ha Khe Hill, 5 km west of the center of Hue in Vietnam.
Located about 5km west of Hue city center, Thien Mu Pagoda is Hue’s oldest pagoda, with a lifespan of more than 400 years, built in 1601 during the reign of King Nguyen Hoang. A symbol associated with the pagoda that cannot be ignored is the Phuoc Duyen tower – a 21 meter high tower with 7 floors, each floor has a Buddha statue, inside there is a spiral staircase leading to the top floor, where Previously, there was a golden Buddha statue worshiped. Thien Mu Pagoda has appeared many times in Vietnamese folk songs and proverbs and is also the source of inspiration for many works of poetry and painting.
Currently Thien Mu Pagoda is one of the most visited and interested places by tourists on their journey to explore the ancient capital of Hue.
