Buzludzha Monument is an abandoned saucer-shaped monument On the remote Buzludzha peak , in the Central Balkan Mountains , in Bulgaria.
The Buzludzha Monument is a monument honoring the socialist movement of Bulgaria. It is located right on the mountain top. It was inaugurated in 1981 to mark the 1300th anniversary of the founding of the Bulgarian state. The structure, which resembles a UFO in its structural form, has been in a steadily deteriorating condition since the collapse of the socialist state in 1989.
Today Buzludzha Buzludzha Monument is one of the most famous places in Eastern Europe and rightfully takes a spot on the list of the most beautiful abandoned places in the world , Skydivers and base jumpers often come here to make some breathtaking jumps.
