Cala Pi beach is a  beach located in a town with which it shares the name, Cala Pi, 17 kilometers from Llucmajor, in the south of Mallorca- Spain.

The town of Cala Pi is very touristy, it has several hotels and restaurants. We consider it a base point to know the south coast of the island.
This beach penetrates 500 m inland between two vertical walls more than 20 meters high. Its sand is fine, it has hardly any unevenness and a residential area rises around it. The level of occupation of the Cala Pi beach is medium-high during high season.
The cove is short, about 50m long, but quite wide (140m). The cliffs on both sides of the beach make it a safe place, protected from the winds.
With a relaxed atmosphere, Cala Pi attracts local and international tourists and is ideal for all types of users.

Access : Coordinates: 39.364407, 2.836165 / The easiest way to get to Cala Pi is by private vehicle. Road access is easy and the beach has free parking,To get to the beach, they must descend a steep stone staircase – 147 steps.
/ The closest town to Cala Pi is Llucmajor, about 30 km from Palma. From there we will take the Ma-6015 road, and after about 15 km we will reach a junction – properly signposted-  where we will turn right to take the Ma-6014 towards Cala Pi.

Highlights :

  •  the cove has a lifeguard service, a beach bar and rental of umbrellas and hammocks. Animals are not allowed, nor campin
  •  The beach formed is of white sand and the waters, protected from storms, are of a limpid turquoise color.
  •  A very popular option is to access by boat : At the entrance to the cliffs there are three stones on the port side, so the boats must access the central part of the cove to anchor

Go next : town of Capocorb, declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument in 1931 can be visited , and is only 4km from the beach.
