Calo des Moro, six kilometers from Santanyi, ( on the southeast of Mallorca ,the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean )  is the most visited beach in the area.

This virgin bay, interspersed with tall rocks covered with pine, garrigue, broom and mastic shrubs, has sandy beaches interspersed with large rocks. This physiognomy changes according to the intensity of the prevailing winds, as the ocean currents carry away the sea silt and thus reduce the beach. Considering that the beach is small anyway and has a high number of visitors, it becomes clear that finding a corner to unfold a towel can be difficult.

The crystal-clear water, open to winds from the east-southeast, has a sandy bottom; this is excellent for diving and docking smaller boats. The depth near the shore varies between three and four meters. The nearest port facility is located two nautical miles away, Port de Cala Figuera of Santanyi.
