The Golden Lane , also known as Alchemists’ Lane or Goldmakers’ Lane, is a tiny street on the inner wall of Prague Castle , Czech Republic.

Golden Lane became famous primarily because alchemists are said to have worked here under the supervision of Emperor Rudolf II to produce artificial gold and the philosopher’s stone for him.
The houses house a permanent exhibition, souvenir shops and cafés. Medieval armor, among other things, is exhibited on the upper floor. To enter the alley, entry is required until 4:00 p.m. (November–March) or 5:00 p.m. (April–October).
Today is a site of great tourist interest, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  and one of Prague’s best photo spots.
