Kapitulská Street is one of the most attractive historical streets in Bratislava’s Old Town in Slovakia.

Kapitulská Street, oriented north-south, is one of the oldest streets in the city,  Kapitulská Street represents the oldest city center with finds of stone architecture, which flourished in Bratislava in the 13th century. Kapitulská Street was originally part of the road leading to Bratislava Castle and created strategic communication. The concept of a nearby castle wall is a simple and effective way to defend the city. It consists of the external so-called of the fence wall, which is lower, and from the inner, higher and more powerful defensive wall.

Most of the houses belonged to the church, and even today the street is almost completely unaffected by the growing tourism in Bratislava, Only a few places in Bratislava combine an important historical legacy, preserved in an authentic form to the present.
