La Digue is the fourth largest granite island in the Seychelles, after the island of Mahe, Praslin and Silhouette and is the third most populous island.
 the main industry of the island is tourism,  and it is famous for its beaches, especially Anse Source d’Argent and Grand Anse. La Digue has experienced a marked increase in tourist activity, which has had a decisive impact on the economy of Seychelles. Formerly the production of copra and vanilla were the main bastions of the local economy, which can be recalled in the museum of the island.
The Veuve Nature Reserve, in the interior of the island, is the habitat of the rare monarch-colilargo of the Seychelles, of which there is only a population of about a hundred living specimens. The highest peak of La Digue is also in the central part of the island, the Belle Vue (mountain of the Eagle’s Nest) with 300 meters of height. La Digue is also visited because of its rich and colorful marine fauna, which includes, among other fish, sharks and striped rays. There are about twenty hotels and guest houses, some restaurants and a diving center. You can take boat trips and go diving. In the Veuve reserve, tourists can take a guided bike ride to admire the beauty of La Digue
La Digue owes its name to a ship of the fleet of the French explorer Marc-Joseph Marion du Fresne, who visited the Seychelles in 1768.

Grand Anse beach , swimming is dangerous from May to October. , on the south east coast is the longest brach of the island
Coco Island , small island located just north of the private island of Felicite, crystal clear water , awesome corals , paradise for snorkeling.
Petite Anse beach , requires a hiking to get there , wonderful rock formations and turquois clear water
Anse Marron Beach , Located near Pointe Ma Flore, on the southern side of the island of La Digue, the beach of Anse Marron is a small beach, divided equally between sand and rocks, and bathed by a crystal-clear sea, very rough and where you can admire fishermen and locals looking for fish.
Anse Severe Beach , One of the most beautiful and natural charm places on the island of La Digue, in the Seychelles archipelago (Indian Ocean), Anse Severe is a beach with a wild charm, devoid of any construction or human intervention.
Anse Patates Beach , a beach perfect for snorkelers and swimmers , located on the north east tip
Felicite Island , Felicite is a small, forest-covered Seychelles granitic island located 4 kilometers east of La Digue Island.
Union Estate Park , The park is enstrance to the Anse Source d’Argent , also you can find here bananas trees, turtles and a vanilla plantation.
Anse La Reunion Beach , very nice but not for swimming and diving , White sandy, but very spacious beach. There are very nice palm trees and shrubs, but not much shade.
Nid d’Aigle , highest point of La Digue at 300m , short hike , Great View no markers on the way
Veuve Nature Reserve , The center of the island offers a small nature reserve, the Veuve Reserve.
Anse Banane beach , on the east coast of La Digue , Excellent for bathing , best-known for its views
Anse Pierrot Beach , The white sandy beach, the crystal clear sea, the rock formations and above all the seclusion make the Anse Pierrot a dream destination.
Anse Caiman beach , Anse Cayman is one of the best places to see turtles by snorkeling from the coast of La Digue.
Plantation House National Monument , Part of the L’Union estate , restored Plantation House from the colonial era , also museum and art gallery
Anse Gaulettes Beach , the wall along the beach and the art gallery make the Anse Gaulettes a fascinating destination.
Anse Fourmis , quiet beach suitable for families , Anse Fourmis is located on the east coast of La Digue, between Anse Banane and the remote Anse Caiman.
Union Beach , Union beach is the beach before the Anse source d’argent , You must enter in the Union estate park (115 rps) and cross the plantation.
Anse Bonnet Carre Beach , The Anse Bonnet Carre is a secluded and very quiet beach in the south of La Digue. He has few visitors, because most cross it only on the way to Anse Marron.
The Lady of our Assumption’ church on La Digue island , the first Catholic church on the island built in 1854.
