Mountain lake Kol-Tor is located 86 km from the city of Bishkek on the northern slopes of the Kyrgyz ridge, in Kyrgyzstan.
The Kel-Tor located in Kegety gorge at an altitude of 2700 meters. Most of the year the lake is frozen, and in summer the water does not warm up more than 5 degrees Celsius, so it is unsuitable for swimming.
