Pura Luhur Lempuyang Temple is located at an altitude of 1058 above sea level, on Mount Lempuyang. on the island of Bali, Indonesia.
The gates and the temple are located in the eastern part of Bali, Lempuyang Temple is one of the Sad Kahyangan Jagad or the six main temples which are considered the pillars of Bali.
Apart from the famous Heaven’s Gate,“Stairway to Heaven”, “Road to the Clouds” – Pura Luhur Lempuyang is another unique mystery. Between the clumps of bamboo that grow on top of Pura Luhur Lempuyang is a pelingi called Tirta Pingit (Secret). Only three bamboo groves grow in this place.
