Malana is an ancient mountain village at an altitude of 2650 meters, in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.

In Malana there  people who have not come into contact with the world for many centuries and have existed in absolute isolation. Because of this, they developed their own religion, language, traditions, and even a parliament, which is considered one of the first created in the world. Malana is famous for the customs of its people and its customs. The city has been the subject of various documentaries including Malana: globalization of a Himalayan village and Malana, a lost identity , Malana is also famous for the production of “Malana Cream”, a cannabis product that grows in the highlands around the village. Malana cream is considered one of the best hashishes in the world.

For this, a proper notice has also been put up by them, in which it is clearly written that for touching anything, a fine of Rs 1000 will have to be paid. The amount of their fine ranges from Rs 1000 to Rs 2500. Despite the ban on touching any item, this place still attracts tourists!
