Punta Cana is a tourist destination – resort town in the province of La Altagracia, located on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, on the eastern tip of the island of Haiti.

The southeast coast of the Dominican Republic is known for its beautiful beaches and turquoise sea. An elongated coral reef acts as a natural protection against the surf on this coast. In particular, the almost 50 km long Playa Bavaro, which also includes Playa de Arena Gorda, attracts tourists from all over the world due to its picturesque atmosphere.
Grupo Puntacana manages its tourist complex Puntacana Resort and Club and develops Punta Cana – the construction of schools, hospitals and transport infrastructure, environmental activities. The region best known for its beaches and “resorts” on both the coast of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and has been a very popular tourist destination since the 1970s.
