The Römerberg is the town hall square of Frankfurt in the State of Hesse, a state in Germany.

The name comes from the Zum Römer house, which has been Frankfurt’s town hall since the 15th century, also known as the Römer. Since then, the square has been the site of numerous events, for example the imperial coronations, the Frankfurt trade fairs and the Frankfurt Christmas market.
The eastern part of the Römerberg is also called the Sonntagsberg. Since the reconstruction of the historic half-timbered houses on the east side of the square at the beginning of the 1980s, the Römerberg has been a popular destination for Frankfurt residents and tourists.
