Rue de l’Abreuvoir located on the northern slope of the Butte de Montmartre (Montmartre hill) in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, its origins in an alley mentioned, as early as 1325, under the name of “alley which goes to Le But”, that is to say to the fountain of this name which is today located on Place Constantin-Pecqueur.  Rue de l’Abreuvoir starts at Rue des Saules 9 and ends at Place Dalida. Towards the end of the Rue de l’Abreuvoir, there is a breathtaking viewpoint offering spectacular views of the city of Paris.
