Times Square located at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue ,in New York City, United States.
Times Square was officially divided into two sections. The southern end retained the name Times Square and the northern end was renamed Duffy Square. In addition to around 40 theaters, the area around Times Square is home to cafés, fast food chains and souvenir shops, as well as upscale restaurants, multiplex cinemas, the MTV studios, Sony and Vogue. The American technology exchange NASDAQ is also based in the Times Square neighborhood. Times Square is famous for its numerous neon signs. Times Square is often referred to in the USA as The Crossroads of the World, The Center of the Universe, The heart of the Great White Way – the latter is a name for the theater district around Broadway – or The Heart of the World.
