Kreischberg is a medium-sized ski resort/one of the largest in Styria it has been developed on its slopes as well as on the slopes of the neighboring Rosenkranzhöhe mountain (2,118 meters a.s.l.).The mountain is accessible primarily from the north (Sankt Georgen ob Murau, Stadl an der Mur) through numerous forest roads and hiking trails. The area offers 40 kilometers of slopes, including the adjacent Rosenkranzhöh.
Two snowpark areas – the Airypark – complete the area’s offering. The station would have the largest half-pipe in Europe. Kreischberg regularly organizes snowboard world cup events, as well as boardercross events. In recent years, the ski area has received several awards for the quality of its slopes.

  • Kreischberg also regularly hosts stages of the Snowboard World Cup.
  • The resort has developed a toboggan run almost 1.2 km long, as well as a short kilometer running track.
