The Wave ,  Arizona

The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located in Arizona, United States, near its northern border with Utah.These undulating yellow and orange rocks date back to the Jurassic Period, approximately 160 to 180 million years ago. The city of Prescott bought the reservoir and surrounding land in 1997 to preserve it as recreational land .
