The Molenberg is a hill near the Estonian town of Angla, the special thing about this hill is that there is usually a strong wind on it, which makes it an excellent place for the construction of windmills. Four mills are built as column windmills and the fifth mill is built as a Dutch windmill. The museum presents one of the most preserved and original groups of windmills in Estonia. All windmills are located in their original location. The oldest mill was probably built sometime between 1800 and 1809, and the newest dates from 1927. The mill group was restored in 1984/1985.

The mills are now part of the Heritage Center of Angla. Today you can temporarily enter one of the mills and watch the miller’s work, There are also displays of agricultural machinery and a demonstration of flour milling. Admission is charged.
