Augustinergasse is a medieval lane that today forms part of the pedestrian zone of the city of Zürich, Switzerland.

Augustinergasse Bordered to the north by Münzplatz and St. Peterhofstatt towards Münsterhof, it is named after the former Augustinian monastery, now the Augustinerkirche church.
During the medieval era, Augustinergasse was a small street within the city’s fortifications, which would soon become the home of most of Zurich’s artisans. After the 17th century, the street became the most desired place for the owners of the most important factories, who began a battle to obtain the most eye-catching façade on the street, the most notable tourist spots are the numerous windows of these colorful houses, along with some shops, cafes and restaurants oriented mainly toward tourism. The small street is probably one of the most colorful streets in Zurich and one of the busiest spaces in the city.
