Bay of Fires, on the northeast coast of Tasmania, Australia, is a large bay that stretches for about 30 kilometers in Binalong Bay, south of Eddystone Point.

The bay was named after Captain Tobias Furneaux in 1773, after observing several bonfires on the beaches of the Tasmanian aborigines.
The Bay is a region of beaches with fine white sand, turquoise water and orange stained granites, a color that is due to a lichen. The northern section of the bay is part of Mount William National Park, while to the south it is bordered by a conservation area.
Its waters also offer great possibilities for scuba diving, diving and fishing, being Anson Bay a perfect place to practice them and one of the few places in Tasmania where Australian bass can be fished.
