Flamenco Beach is a  beach on the Caribbean island of Culebra ( Culebra is a small Caribbean island, mostly covered in nature preserve that lies about 20 miles east of Puerto Rico and 12 miles west of Saint Thomas. ) , in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Flamenco is located on the north coast of Culebra.
The beach extends for a mile around a protected, horseshoe-shaped bay  The beach is bordered by the Culebra National Wildlife Refuge,  which is itself one of the oldest wildlife reserves within the United States wildlife and fishing service unit. Facing the flamenco coast,

Flamenco Beach on Culebra Island, in particular, was used by American training exercises that began in 1939 as a preliminary step to military actions in World War II. The tests and training continued during and after the war. After their departure from Flamenco Beach in 1975, They left behind  one of the most distinctive views of the beach  today , two rusting  old M4 Sherman tanks , the  tanks remain on the beache full of color and have become a unique feature of the tropical  landscape.

Flamenco Beach is the top ranked beach in Puerto Rico and one of the top beaches in the world , In August 2016, it was announced that Flamenco Beach had regained its Blue Flag Beach international distinction.
In March 2014, Flamenco beach was ranked 3rd best beach in the world with a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award. According to Discovery Channel , Playa Flamenco is the second-most beautiful beach in the world.

Access : Coordinates: 18.331667, -65.318056 / catch the ferry to Isla Culebra , The price per person of the passenger boat is $ 2.25 each way.
The duration of each trip is practically one hour. Once in Culebra you have to reach Playa Flamenco, the island is small and there is option to rent a bike, others rent a car or a motorcycle, Golf Carts / Get there by taxi : taxis
