The Jurkovic observation tower is located on the eastern edge of Roznov pod Radhostem.( Roznov pod Radhostem , is a town in the Zlin Region – Moravian Wallachia is a mountainous ethnoregion located in the easternmost part of Moravia in the Czech Republic, near the Slovak border.)

The plans for the construction of the tower were created by Dusan Jurkovic in 1896 for the Tourist Association in Valasske Mezirici. It was supposed to stand on Brdo Hill in the village of Brnov. Despite attempts to build it in the 1960s, construction began in October 2010, the construction was completed in December 2011. The grand opening was held on April 28, 2012. The concrete foundation is lined with stone, wood beech was used on the wooden part. spruce and fir. The total cost was CZK 12.2 million.

opening hours : tower is usually open daily from 15 April to 15 October , 9 am to 5 pm, but may be longer depending on the climatic conditions of each year.
