The place is at an altitude of around 2020 m and is one of the highest ski resorts in Austria. The slopes here are quite calm, and queues for the lifts are rare. This place is simply ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. The ski school is located in the very center of Kühtai and has a conveyor belt instead of a rope tow.
More experienced skiers will find 40 kilometers of excellent, mostly red, slopes here. For the pros, there are three black pistes plus a wide range of off-piste and ski touring opportunities (guide services are highly recommended). For snowboarders, Kutai has a small fan park and plenty of off-piste opportunities.
Kühtai Ski Resort, it has hosted, among other things, the freestyle and snowboard competitions of the Winter Youth Olympic Games and stages of the Alpine Skiing World Cup and the Natural Track Luge World Cup.
The top of the highest route is located at an altitude of 2520 meters. Kühtai is known for its scenic slopes and family-friendly amenities. Here you can find Lots of establishments, for example the skischool, the kindergarden or the “wunderteppich” (special lift for kids) ,  there are currently 11 great places to book rooms in Kutai, and Over 20 cozy bars, restaurants and ski huts.

  • Awards : The Kühtai ski area received the Tyrolean slope quality seal from the Tyrolean regional government.
  • Kühtai is a family resort. In winter there is a kindergarten for children from 2 years old.
  • Küthai is  part of the single ski area of Innsbruck Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck with a single ski pass “Ski plus City Pass” for 13 resorts.
  • Night skiing is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 19:30 to 22:00.
  • Hiking trails : The historic Miner’s Trail is dedicated to the history of mining in the region , with several paths to the miner’s house takes 2 to 3 hours! / “Drei Seen Runde” – 3-lakes trail : Hiking past the Finstertal reservoir, Mittlerer Plenderlesee, and Drei Seen Hütte on the Hirschebensee , this is a 3-hour loop trail!.
  • Alpine lake Speicher Finstertal : Lake Speicher Finstertal is one of  the highlights of the Tyrolean landscape of the Küthai resort. The lake is strengthened by an artificial dam. Hiking trails and a route to climb the mountain follow through it.
  • Cycle track Sellrain – Kühtai – Oetz : The cycling route runs through the Sellraintal valley and starts at an altitude of just over 900 meters in the village of Sellrain, then goes through the resort of Küthai and ends in Oetz.The route is a total of 35 kilometers long.The routes of the Ötztal Cycling Marathon and Bergkaiser Innsbruck/Kühtai also pass through Kühtai. They are held in August and September.
