Limeni is a seaside village of Mani.The Mani  is a stretch of land in the south of the Greek peninsula Peloponnese.

In Limeni dominates the palace of Petrobei Mavromichalis with its four-storey Tower and its arched openings. Petrobeis Mavromichalis was the last ruler (bey) of Mani, who played a leading role during the revolutionary and post-revolutionary times.This is where the liberation struggle of the Greeks began.
Undoubtedly, this is one of the most traditional settlements in the area.The visitor can tour the picturesque alleys of the village, while for his stay there are traditional guesthouses and accommodation that follow the local architecture with the stone towers.
