Luzhi Ancient town is a famous historic old river town in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.
The center of Luzhi Ancient Town is the intersection of three main rivers: Nanshi River, Dongshi River, and Xishi River. In addition, there are many branch rivers that are intricate and crisscrossed like a dense network, creating a rich landscape of rivers, bridges, and water lanes in Luzhi.
There are dozens of old bridges from the Song and Ming dynasties, and it is called the Old Bridge Museum. On October 8, 2003, the Ministry of Construction and the National Cultural Heritage Administration of the People’s Republic of China designated it as a “China Historical and Cultural Famous City”.
The Luzhi Ancient Town area in the town is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction with a total area of about 4 square kilometers. Ranked 85th among the top 100 towns in China in 2019.
