The world’s largest underwater sculpture is located off the coast of the Bahamas in the waters of Nassau.

The idea to install an underwater sculpture near the Bahamas belongs to the Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF). The world-famous British sculptor Jason de Caires Taylor took on its embodiment. In height, “Ocean Atlant” reaches almost six meters, and the weight of the sculpture is 60 tons. Such dimensions make it the largest underwater sculpture in the world.
The statue  solves a narrower problem – it diverts the attention of divers from the coral reefs located nearby, and thereby saves them from destruction.
