Reynisdrangar or Troll’s Fingers is a set of basalt stacks located  near the village Vík í Mýrdal, in southern Iceland.

According to one of the local legends, these picturesque pillar-shaped rocks appeared when two trolls tried to pull a three-masted ship ashore that had run aground. But as the sun rose, daylight broke through the clouds and the trolls turned to stone, forming kekurs.
The Reynisdrangar are located near the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, In 1991, an American magazine  named this beach one of the most beautiful non-tropical beaches on Earth.
