Rimetea or Torockó is a Romanian municipality in Alba County, in the Transylvania region,consisting of the villages of Colțești and Rimetea.
The municipality of Rimetea is located in the north of Alba County, on the river of the same name Rimetea – a right tributary of the Arieş – in the Trascău Mountains.
The place used to be a mining place, and today it is known for being the cultural center of the Sekelites. the village is a brilliant example of the fact that saving a heritage can become an engine of development..In 1999, the village received the Europa Nostra award.

- In the 17th-18th centuries, the locality became an important craft and mining center with a mixed population of Saxons and Szeklers, a flourishing town developed thanks to the iron deposits.
