The Rubjerg Knude is an abandoned lighthouse located in the municipality of Hjørring, in the North Jutland region of Denmark.

It was built in 1899 at the top of a hill, about 60 meters above sea level. The ships detected its light from a distance of about 40 kilometers.
The storms piled up sand in front of the lighthouse, to such an extent that in 1968 its light was no longer visible.
The lighthouse functioned as a museum until 2002, the year in which the dune ended up burying some of the attached buildings, however, the lighthouse has never been buried by sand.
with the building being an important attraction in the region, the municipality launched a project in 2018 aimed at moving it further towards the inland.
