The Seacow Head Lighthouse is an active lighthouse which is located on the south-central coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada.

The Seacow Head Lighthouse It was built in 1864 and it was moved in 1979 due to coastal erosion. The lighthouse appears in several episodes of the Canadian television series Tales of Avonlea.
It was recognized as a federal heritage building on September 5, 1991 2 by the Heritage Lighthouse Protection Act and recognized as a designated heritage site by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture in 2012. On June 15, 2022, it was designated heritage lighthouse by the Government of Canada.
Today The Seacow Head Lighthouse offers plenty of photo opportunities and endless creative possibilities for photographers.
