The Rummu Quarry  is a former limestone mine in Estonia, largely flooded with water. It is located in the Rummu settlement of the Lääne-Harju municipality in Harju county.

The quarry is 2.5 km long and 45–75 m wide, stretching in a west-east direction south of the village of Rummu.
The Murru prison near the mine was closed on 1 January 2013. After it was closed, the mine became a popular tourist destination..

Highlights :

  • One of the attractions of the place is the 71 m high barren hill, the Rummui barren hill , which has acquired a characteristic lacy shape over the years as a result of the erosive activity of the water.
  • Summer music and sports events were also held there, and initially it was also used for bathing.
  • Next to the quarry, the Rummu ash hill is created from the part left over from the mining.
  • The video clip of Alan Walker’s Norwegian DJ Faded was partly shot there.
