Sipadan is one of the world's best diving destinations.

Sipadan is an island in the Celebes Sea in the state of Sabah in Malaysia.

Sipadan is a tiny island (500 meters in diameter) which is the tip of an extinct volcano ,the island   located near the north-eastern part of the island of Borneo, just 35 km from Semporna, the port city of Sabah. There are no restaurants or shops on the island. Only diving centers that bring breakfast and lunch with them have access to the island.
Sipadan is one of the world’s best diving destinations. An excellent diving spot is the Barracuda Point, where there is often a huge swarm of barracudas. There are also a lot of turtles, white tip reef sharks and colorful coral gardens and coral fish to be found there. Underwater visibility is excellent from 20m to 50m.
Sipadan has been declared a national park, so entry there is limited – only by requests from travel agencies and no more than 120 people per day. The fee for visiting for the day is 40 ringit (equivalent to $11).
