Kimolos, one of the most beautiful and picturesque islands of the Cyclades, is known for the so-called "Skiadi"
Skiadi is probably the most famous spot of Kimolos ( Kimolos is a small island in the Cyclades , a group of Greek Islands, located in the southern part of the Aegean Sea ).

Skiadi is a geological formation in the form of a mushroom that owes its existence to the erosion of the rock by the rain and the strong winds of the area.
In the northwestern part of the island, west of a hill called “Sklavos”, dominates a huge stone mushroom, whose inhabitants have given it the name “Skiadi”, due to the shade it offers.
For its uniqueness, Skiadi is included in the Atlanta of geological monuments of the Aegean and every summer it receives many visitors.

Access : Coordinates: 36.809379, 24.53918 / By plane : The nearest airport is in Milos island . / Kimolos is connected almost daily with Piraeus port during the high tourist season , the journey takes about 7-8 hours, / The best way to get there is to go to Milos and take the  ferry going from Pollonia (Milos island ) To Kimolos 3-5 Times a day /
/ To get to skiadi there we will pass the antenna in Chorio in the direction of the mountain and Paliokastro. Soon we will be on a dirt road passable for a car, to meet the path on our left after about 30 – 35 minutes ‘of total route.
