Suances is beautiful marine village/town in central coast of Cantabria in the north of Spain. in the autonomous community of Cantabria (Spain) located on the west coast of said region. It borders to the north with the Cantabrian Sea, to the west with Santillana del Mar, to the south with Polanco and to the east with the Ria de San Martin de la Arena,

Although it is also known as fishing village, Suances is currently an eminently tourist destnation, developed around the group of beaches that are grouped in Punta del Dichoso, a natural harbor surrounded by cliffs.
There is a group of five islands, which are north of the tip of the Horn and although they belong to the municipality of Miengo are part of the coastal landscape of the town of Suances : Pasiega Island , Isla de los Conejos , Casilda, Segunda and Solita Islands.

By Train : There is no train station in Suances. The nearest stations are the FEVE station or Puente San Miguel or Barreda.
By Bike-foot : Suances with Torrelavega , 11km long in total and It has two parts , Torrelavega-Hinojedo and Hinojedo-Suances.By car :A-67 motorway
Connects to the A-1 motorway which continues on to Madrid (450 kilometres). From Oviedo direction on the A8 motorway, take the Puente San Miguel/Santillana del Mar exit close to Torrelavega. from Santander or Torrelavega take the Suances exit off the A67 motorway,
