The Porto Giunco tower is a Aragonese watchtower located on the eastern side of the Capo Carbonara promontory,in the province of Southern Sardinia , Italy.
The tower It can be reached on foot from the Porto Giunco cove following a path that winds through the Mediterranean scrub that covers the promontory, or by car from the Capo Carbonara side. The tower is located at a height of approximately 50 meters above sea level and from its position dominates the underlying beach of Porto Giunco and the Notteri pond and offers mesmerizing views . It’s really worth the hike on the hill for the beautiful vistas ,moreover , a great place for Sardinia photography.
