Rogla is one of the most important Slovenian winter sports centers, which was opened in 1975. It lies on the top of the Zreško Pohorje at 1517 m.a.s.l.
Currently, there are 13 ski slopes of varying difficulty levels in Rogla.  Rogla is the first Olympic center in Slovenia, where teams from European countries train. Various international competitions often take place here, The ski center offers Restaurants on the ski slope, accommodation facilities  shop, restaurant, café, aperitif bar, pastry shop, pub, disco, sales galleries, kiosks, ski equipment rental,  sports facilities : natural ice rink, swimming pool, saunas, solarium, fitness room, multipurpose sports hall with courts for tennis, squash, handball, basketball, volleyball, futsal, bowling, fencing, athletics – jumping  and  organized excursions.

Highlights :

  • The Ski resort in Rogla offers Ski trails with a total length of 15 km spread over 90 hectares of land between 1050 and 1517 m above sea level. In addition, there are 30 km of cross-country skiing trails and the Zlodejevo winter and summer sledge (1300 m) in the area. The ski area has lifts (2 chairlifts, 8 lifts with anchors and one with saucers) with a total capacity of about 15,000 skiers per hour.For experienced skiers, night skiing and the Jurgovo black track are available.
  • Rogla Ski Resort it hosted some races of the cross-country skiing World Cup and the snowboarding World Cup, as well as numerous smaller competitions.
  • The Rogla Olympic Center is known for its high-altitude training, which has been chosen by prominent sports stars and teams.
  • At the top there is a 30 m high observation tower from which Triglav is visible in good weather. Together with the tower, this peak is the highest point in the entire Pohorje (the highest natural point is Črni Vrh – 1543 m).
