The world’s best airport was voted by travelers, Singapore’s Changi Airport, for the sixth consecutive year as part of the Skytrax 2018 International Aviation Award, at a ceremony held at the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Stockholm, Sweden
Skytrax World Airport Awards are voted by airline travelers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey. Research works as an independent study, with no entry costs or charges at any airport.

Here are the top 10 airports in the world:
1. Changi, Singapore
2. Incheon, Seoul, South Korea
3. Haneda, Tokyo, Japan
4. Hong Kong, Hong Kong
5. Hamad, Doha, Katar
6. Munich Airport, Munich, Germany
7. Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya, Japan
8. Heathrow, London, UK
9. Zurich Airport, Zurich, Switzerland
10. Frankfurt Airport, Frankfurt, Germany

The best airports per passenger number:

Best airport 50 million + passengers: Changi, Singapore
Best airport 40-50 million passengers: Munich Airport
Best airport 30-40 million passengers: Hamad
Best airport 20-30 million passengers: Zurich Airport
Best airport 10-20 million passengers: Centrair Nagoya
Best airport 5-10 million passengers: Durban Airport
Best airport under 5 million passengers: London City
It is noted that the 2018 awards are based on 13.73 million questionnaires completed by more than 100 different nationalities of airline customers during the survey period.

The survey was conducted from August 2017 to February 2018, covering 550 airports worldwide and exploiting the experiences of travelers between the different services offered by airports and their key performance, from check-in, arrivals, transportation, markets , security and procedures until arrival at the gate
