South of Buhl ( Castleford is a city in Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States ) in Salmon Falls Creek Canyon rises the famous Balanced Rock.
The mushroom-shaped rock measures 48 feet wide at the top and only 3 feet, 17 inches at the base.
Balanced Rock, one of the most iconic features in the park. Near Balanced Rock there are excellent picnic sites.Self-support camping is allowed.
Access : Coordinates: 42.5488° N, 114.9572° W / Balanced Rock is located near Castleford, is easiest to access via Buhl on U.S. Highway 30.
