Bedarra Island is an island in Australia. It is located in the state of Queensland, about 1,300 kilometers northwest of the state capital Brisbane.

Bedarra Island is located about seven kilometers off the tropical coast of North Queensland, halfway between Townsville and Cairns, the nearest coastal town is Mission Beach. It is in the center of Family Islands National Park.
The island is divided into three main parts. One section includes the Bedarra Island Resort, which consists of eight villas serving the luxury tourism market. Another area, known as East Bedarra, is made up of seven private vacation homes on land that once belonged to the artist Noel Wood. The third section, known as the Bedarra Hideaway, is an old 16-room resort that has been out of business since 1991.
Since 1980, the island has been privately owned by the travel company Dunk Island Resort, it houses several luxury hotels, among the pristine rainforest.
