Blue Moon Valley Scenic Area is located at the foothills of Yulong Snow Mountain, Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province,China.
At the Blue Moon Valley Scenic Area are Hongxian Inn, Yuye Lake, Jingtan Lake, Blue Moon Lake, Tingtao Lake and other beautiful scenery in the territory. It has the reputation of “Little Jiuzhaigou”, like a blue moon inlaid under the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
On a sunny day, the color of the water is blue, and the valley is crescent-shaped. From a distance, it looks like a blue moon inlaid at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain, so it is called Lanyuegu – Blue Moon Valley.
The Blue Moon Valley Scenic Area is not large. If you hike along the lakeshore, it takes about 1-2 hours. There are also environmentally friendly sightseeing vehicles in the scenic area. - The river in the Blue Moon Valley was blocked by the mountains during its flow, forming four larger water surfaces, known as Yuye Lake, Jingtan Lake, Blue Moon Lake and Tingtao Lake.
- Jingtan Lake is a small scenic spot in the Blue Moon Valley. It looks small and exquisite, but it is very quiet. The lake here is also particularly clear, just like the “Jiuzhaigou Mirror Sea”.
