The once fishing village has evolved into a cute tourist resort, in addition to the incredible sandy beaches, an important attraction is the sunken forest , An ancient underwater forest is visible on the beach at low tide, where stumps of oak, pine, birch trees can be seen. This forest is also associated with the legend of Cantre’r Gwaelod.
Borth is today a popular seaside town with several caravan camps in the area ,accommodation facilities ,shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and local services.
