The doctor’s beach is a small beach, located in Capo Ceraso ,Province of Olbia-Tempio , North-East Sardinia, Italy.
The beach is striking for its clean water and an intense emerald color and for its proximity to the island of Tavolara which rises majestically on the horizon.
The beach is difficult to reach as it is not possible to park nearby. In fact, you need to walk a bit or get there by sea with the SUP. The clear and unique seabed is very popular among snorkelers , underwater fishing enthusiasts and underwater photography, thanks to the interesting marine flora and fauna.
Access : Coordinates: 40°54’15″N 9°37’50″E / The beach is located in Capo Ceraso, not far from the Olbiese village of Murta Maria, in the municipality of Olbia ,province of Sassari.
Highlights :
- The beach consists of a very fine light sand bottom, alternating with colored pebbles.
- The beach can be reached by taking the SS125 towards Siniscola, after passing the town of Murta Maria, take the road to Porto Istana, and after about 2 kilometers, turn left into via Punzutu, continuing for about 1.5 kilometers. At this point you park and continue on foot for 10 minutes along a private road, until the outline of the Doctor’s beach appears on the right.
