Samtan Art Mine is a theme park – art complex located in town of Jeongseon, in Gangwon province , South Korea.
The complex has been renovated from an abandoned coal mine to an cultural and artistic space art complex that currently hosts over one hundred thousand art works collected from 150 countries.
Samtan Art Mine was chosen as one of the 100 tourist sites Koreans should visit in 2015 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Tourism Organization.
Samtan Art Mine is a an unique experience and serves as a great photo spot for tourists and should definitely be on your ‘South Korea places to visit’ list!
