Lake Retaud (1685 m) is a mountain lake in the municipality of Ormont-Dessus in the canton of Vaud , the Vaud Alps  are a mountain range of the Western Alps, located in western Switzerland.

The lake is located near the Col du Pillon – from where the cable car goes to Les Diablerets,the Retaud Lake itself is located in a hollow surrounded by alpine meadows and conifers. A  Restaurant  is located directly on the west bank of the mountain lake.
Lac Retaud is lined with the rock ridges and peaks of Scex Rouge, Nägelihorn, Oldenhorn and the Diablerets glacier.
From the top of the Col du Pillon pass, where there is a post bus stop on the Gstaad-Les Diablerets route, the Lac Retaud mountain lake can be reached on foot in around 30 minutes.
A destination for swimming, eating and hiking: the natural paradise of Lac Retaud near the Col du Pillon in the canton of Valais is a popular destination.

Access : Coordinates: 46.360303, 7.199447 / By Car: Taking the A9 towards Great St. Bernard, take the Aigle exit, then follow the Aigle – Les Diablerets – Col du Pillon road -20 km.
