The Mù Cang Chải rice terraces located in Mù Cang Chải , a rural district in Yên Bái Province, northwest region of Vietnam.
The Mù Cang Chải rice terrace fields extend across 2,200 hectares of the mountainside as narrow layers of terraces ranging from 1 m to 1.5 m wide.
The terraced fields in the three communes of La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha and Ze Xu Phinh have been ranked as national landscapes by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.
Currently, Yen Bai province has been organizing the annual Mu Cang Chai terraced field festival in September to attract more attention from visitors towards a land that is still very poor, pristine but very rich. about the beauty of nature through terraced fields whose beauty and potential are still left open.
The rice terraces in Vietnam are considered one of the wonders of the world and attract domestic and international tourists.
