Nijubashi Bridge located in front of the main entrance of the Imperial Palace , the main residence of the Emperor of Japan.

The Imperial Palace is the residence of the Emperor of Japan and the imperial family . It is located in the southern part of Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. Most of the palace is usually only open to the public by booking a visitor tour in advance. The buildings themselves are not accessible. On the emperor’s birthday (February 23) and New Year’s Day (January 2), the inner palace grounds are accessible without registration. The Eastern Gardens are open all year round except Mondays and Fridays and some special days. The Nijubashi Bridge is the Main gate stone bridge of the Imperial Palace and  the most famous bridge in the country , currently consist not only an iconic landmark, but also the best place for pictures in Tokyo.
