Chesterman Beach is a municipal beach located in the Tofino area on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the Canadian province of British Columbia.
Chesterman Beach is located on a bay surrounded by pine trees. It is divided into two sectors: Cherterman South, which faces south, and Cherterman North, which faces west.
The 2.7 kilometer stretch of sand is a world-famous surf spot ideal for kayaking and spotting hundreds of colorful sea creatures. This ranks Vancouver Island Beach 16th out of 34 beaches around the world. Chesterman Beach is a must-visit destination and located only a 10-minute drive south of the town of Tofino.
